I didn't get any of those commonly known symptoms. So I never really paid attention even if my menses were delayed. I mean, me? Pregnant? Hmmm. Co'on, I'm not nausiated and I was definitely not throwing up (like they show in the Bollywood movies). Infact, I'm eating more than my normal portions & frequencies with good metabolism. And I'm not fatigued. Well, the headache? Oh, that must be the heat. And those swinging moods? Oh, you are PMSing concluded my husband. So there. And it went on till one day I met an experienced friend over lunch and she insisted I took the test. And with those two red lines that appeared on the stripe, my heart was in my mouth and I gave out a very dramatic gasp!
My world and my waist were about to change...
